The School Day

Each day in the life of our pupils is designed to be dynamic and stimulating, inspiring every child to be curious, confident and to give their best. Our pupils are eager to participate and learn; within every lesson, teachers ensure progress and engagement through a creative approach and a commitment to stretch and challenge for all learners.

Academic subjects are typically taught by class teachers with specialist teaching introduced for Languages from Year 2 and for Science from Year 4. Our co-curricular subjects – Art, Computing, Dance, Drama, Music, and Physical Education and Games – are also led by specialists throughout the school.

Pupils enjoy two daily breaktimes in our playground, with Reception also benefiting from regular, dedicated Outdoor Learning sessions on site.

To fuel their busy days, all pupils enjoy a healthy, freshly prepared meal. Our onsite team, Harrison Catering, also provides morning snacks for everyone, with additional refreshments for those staying for after-school activities.

A wide enrichment programme further enhances the experience, with clubs scheduled before, during, and after the school day beginning in the spring term of Year 1. We view London and the wider area as extensions of our classrooms; pupils regularly venture out on trips, and to fixtures and tournaments, while visiting speakers are welcomed into school to bring learning to life.
